Coming Soon: Amstrad CPC464:Inside Out – 100%

I started colouring up the 464 straight after finishing the C64 and progress has been swift. So much so that I’m about 50% through the process.
Base colours are all in and for this one I went straight on to the PCB and all those electronics components. Previously I have done the case and keys first but for reasons unknown I felt the need to get stuck into sorting out all those processors and resisters! I noticed during my research the PCB has a slight opaqueness to it, so one of the things I’ve tried to get right was replicating that look during the colouring up process. So far so good! Next time, I’ll be tackling the case and keys, leaving the Joystick for last.

July Update:
With the introduction of Poster Prints, I’ve added the 464 to the new range, so there will be a poster version of this artwork. All that’s left to do is finish the shading and lighting of the art and it’s ready to go!
