February 2023, Jonah the editor of Amiga Addict Magazine asked me if I would be interested in creating the cover art for a forthcoming issue which was to feature Sensible Software. What couId I say? Coincidentally I’d already worked on a version of this image as a background for a Cannon Fodder style Pixel Portrait idea. It wasn’t quite finished but there was enough to get the general idea. I sent Jonah a rough along with a suggestion of including Jon and myself, the budget didn’t quite stretch to doing the whole Sensible team but given the quotes in the article were from Jon and myself the idea worked. Originally I planned to have lots of parachutes floating down with icons attached, each representing a game associated with Sensible. I soon scrapped that idea and opted for scattered Sensible memories.
